Right as he is getting flanked, Reece arrives in the valley and takes out three thugs approaching Raife. Raife is ambushed by the Russian gangsters but manages to get behind cover and shoots multiple of him over long distance with his Colt 1911. As they cannot reach Raife - who left his radio behind while hunting for a stag - Reece leaves Katie with the Hastings, Liz and Tim and drives off to save Raife together with Jonathan Hastings and his dog DOGNAME. Vic Rodriguez is able to contact Reece seconds before the ambush and he is able to escape back to the Farmhouse. Their plan is leaked to the CIA by Alexandr Zharkov via prior Chief of Station Russia NAME. On his next drive to town with Katie, a group under Vitya try to ambush Reece with the help of Tanya while another group led by Dimitry Mashkov is supposed to take out Raife. In the meantime, Grey with the help of MOBBOSS Kharkov prepares to have Reece and Raife assassinated by a group of bratva gangsters under the leadership of Vitya and Dimitry Mashkov.
Acknowledging their feelings for each other, they spend some time (and nights) together at James' cottage on the Hastings' Farm and meet the Hastings, Liz and Tim Thornton.
